Okay, one thing I just don't get are these open toe boots that you're seeing all over the runways. When are they appropriate? What season? You really can't wear them in the winter, and then in the summer they're too hot. But, these Bootilegs are even weirder. They're fabric legwarmers you wear over sandals for that open-toe boot look. They cost around $100. Pretty hideous.
Actually, those bootilegs would be pretty good for those cool summer nights. Saw some over closed shoes floating around the web and they looked really funky. Then I got onto their website and they have loads of different styles. OK not a fan of the satin ones myself and I probably wouldn't wear them with sandals but the denim and cord ones are fantastic.
